Gettin' ready to check out the "Squeradin' Costume Contest. The power of art, to create a safe space where a youth can be young, free, & creative.
The 'Squeraders were ready. Would the cosplayers win? Would the stylin' clowns win? Would it be the costumed heroes?
The Saxophone Quartet of Kenwood Academy HS players were the soundtrack to this event. They have perfomed at the Chicago Jazz fest and played both classical & jazz works.
The contest begins!!!!!

They came to win!
Rhakal of ONLI STUDIOS awarding the BLACK BAG Prize!
They gave a moving presentation about the Underground Comix legend, innovator, the late Grass Green. Green's wife and relatives were pleasantly emotional through the whole Hall of Fandom presentation.
Sterling Clark came in from Kokomo to do the do....
Eric was taking a moment to take it all in. We loved having him, Steven, Nino, Juan, Ashley, Raphael, and Andre' as the 2009 featured Black Age artists.
