After completing our very successful 23rd edition annual indie event, we at ONLI STUDIOS have decided that magic number 25 will be our last.
We offer our serious thanks and appreciation to all of the great folks who participated in this amazing evolution and revolution! It could not have happened without each and every single one of them.
Since 1993 we have promoted, produced and documented annual editions of the worl'sd first indie comic convention that took on the challenge to expand this industry to celebrate the folks and concepts derived form the Black, African, Indie, Alternative and Urban experience.
Our overwhelming success impact and are manifested in how much Color and real diversity has emerged in this industry since those repressive days of 1993. Along with emergent conventions such as ECBACC, Onyx Con, Motor City Black Age, Waconda Con, MECCA Con or Pocket Con we see fans of all backgrounds abound and rejoice.
Ours is a living legacy of a celebration of creativity, culture, commerce and collection!
We can expect Prof. Onli, the innovative founder of this genre to explode in his dynamic Rhythmistic practice of fine and narrative visual art. Exhibitions, lectures and of course all of his ever cool and supper hot Rhythmistic Graphic Novels.

FACT: In Feb. 1993 ONLI STUDIOS produced the first ever full indie Black Age of Comics Convention at the National Treasure known as the South Side Community Art Center in the historic district of Bronzeville in Chicago.
This unique event featured panel discussions, vendors, exhibitions. It was open sourced, open to the LGBTQ community, folks of color, folks of non-color, the disabled, while openly celebrating creators and concepts derived from the Black, Urban, African & Indie experience.
ONLI STUDIOS planned it to support the launch of Milestone Media that same month.
The impact of this continuing event is the steady successful explosion of various indie comic cons around the USA featuring People of Color / LGBTQ and Alternatives..
We thank all of the positive folks along the way who have attended, participated in, and supported our efforts to grow the Black Age of Comics genre into a positive welcoming force for creativity, culture & commerce.
The rise of MEECA CON, ECBACCC, Onyx-Con, MCBACC & Pocket Con and such are examples of this living legacy.
