We at ONLI STUDIOS want to thank all of you who have given your precious time, creativity, resources and efforts to make the Black Age Movement the powerhouse in positive creativity, culture and commece that it is.  However due to a sea-change at ONLI STUDIOS, we will not be producing our annual convention-event this summer in Chicago as usual. We do encourage you to attend and participate in the other annual Black Age events around the USA.   ECBACC, ONYX-CON, and MoCBACC are all amazing events with the best of traditions, talents and taste.  Once ONLI STUDIOS is re-organized appropriate announcements will be made.  In the mean time our blog will remain active along with the other internet based supports we operate.

Again we offer our sincere gratitude.

Thank You!!!!!

Since we all dine on Chinese, Italian, Thai, Japanese or Mexican cuisine without being from those cultures or countries it is easy to accept and understand that the Black Age of Comics movement is not "just" for Black people.  Nor is it restrictive in any sense of the word. It is a growing genre!  Welcome to the most creative movement in the graphic novels' related industry.  The Black Age of Comics.  20 years young this year!!!

My operation is looking for a few competitive, positive, talented, resourceful, connected, dedicated visionaries who take direction well, have great communication skills, are time managers, resilient practices solo or in tandem, while being responsible to the task at hand. If you know a few hit us up on the email. I will share the details with them at that point.

"I know for a fact that no one commits acts of violence while reading a graphic novel. A positive culturally based fantasy life will inspire a positive reality. Reading a graphic novel or comic book cultivates higher ordered thinking skills because the reader must process images along with words in a sequence to derive a meaningful context and its narrative implications. This is why it is stereotyped as appealing to "smart intelligent boys". Often referred to as "Nerds" or "Geeks". Avid comic book fans test well in all areas. Reading this material makes them smarter!"

We were invited to have a positive discussion about the "Black Presence in Comics" recently as part of Graham Crackers' tribute to Black History Month. They even set up a special display of indie and mainstream Black Age products for fans to collect.  It was all the way cool!  Folks had a lot to say.

Big props to Matt, The Staff , Shah, & Rabya for producing this event.  The Black Age Movement got better for it.

Big ups & thanks to those of you who have collected, bought and shared our units of creativity during this 20th anniversary month and all along the way. Also we seriously appreciate those who realize that a graphic novel is a serious art form that reaches folks of all ages and stages. It's combination of written word and narrative visual art is still a force of dynamic cognition and creativity. We do all of this for you. "Indie today: Black Age forever!!!
